Use this 30-day framework as a starting point, allowing more time where rights, installation, procurement, or event complexity require it. ## 30 to 14 Days Before the Tournament - Define the covered holes, broadcast duration, commentary, graphics, and viewing destinations. - Walk camera positions, power sources, and cable routes with course and event staff. - Confirm media rights, participant notices, recording permissions, and approved content reuse. - Assign production roles and agree responsibilities with any outside providers. - Confirm sponsor deliverables and creative approval deadlines. - Reserve equipment and test transmission at the intended locations. ## Event Week and Broadcast Day - Check cameras, mounts, cables, microphones, batteries, encoders, and backups. - Rehearse camera changes, commentary, graphics, and sponsor placements together. - Watch a test from the public viewing destination on a separate device. - Document actions for lost connectivity, equipment failure, and weather interruptions. - Coordinate weather safety with event management; crew safety takes precedence over coverage. - Assign a stream monitor and maintain an issue log during the event.
