Camera feeds travel to a production team that handles switching, graphics, audio, and delivery. It can reduce travel requirements for some roles, but dependable transmission and clear communication remain essential. ## Understand the Remote Production Workflow Map the path from each camera through encoding and transmission to the production location, then to the viewing platform. Decide which feeds travel separately and whether any local switching happens first. Include commentary and graphics in that design. Remote workflows can use wired or wireless transmission according to site conditions. Industry golf production examples include bonded cellular transmission, which combines multiple connections. Availability alone does not establish adequate performance at your venue. ## Plan Connectivity and Crew Communications Test feeds concurrently, including return audio and the communication tools operators need. Differences in transmission delay can complicate camera switching and audio alignment. Rehearse synchronization with the equipment and settings intended for the event. Document backup paths and a fallback program. A local single-camera feed or holding graphic may be preferable to an unexplained outage, but only if the team has rehearsed how to provide it. Bonded cellular: it's expensive, but worth it. There are a few options out there, I've personally used LiveU Solo but I have also heard good things about [MR NET](https://mrnet.us) and [Teradek](https://teradek.com/) products.  ## Decide What Stays On-Site Someone must manage physical installation, power, batteries, and faults. Mobile camera coverage still needs operators.
